Nick Hampton is a marketing and business development strategist with more than a decade of experience driving growth for brands and professional service firms. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Psychology, he blends data insights with an understanding of human behavior to create marketing that converts, builds trust, and strengthens brand positioning. His background includes event planning for the Grammys and serving as Digital Marketing Manager at Villa Real Estate. Today, he leads brand strategy at The File Group, spearheading initiatives that directly support revenue growth and client engagement.
His expertise spans SEO architecture, website development, social media, email and content strategy, campaign design, events, and communications. By pairing analytics with thoughtful storytelling, Nick helps ensure The File Group’s marketing is not only polished, but effective.
Nick also played a key role in the creation of 3rd Thursdays, a community event series launched in 2025 to energize the Corona del Mar business district. Serving as The File Group’s representative, he worked closely with Newport Beach Mayor Lauren Kleiman, business leaders, residents, and volunteers to bring the vision to life. 3rd Thursdays has since become a signature community event, and in December 2025, Nick and the other founding collaborators were formally recognized with a Mayoral Proclamation for their civic contribution and success.
Nick lives in Laguna Beach with his wife and son, and brings first-hand local insight to the team’s well-established coastal expertise. Outside of work, he enjoys film, travel, running, hiking, and swimming.
